20 August 2013 - Buena Vista Social Club - Clocks

So, I'm sitting around the other night and this song comes on.  And, about a minute in, I exclaim:

"Hey!  This isn't Coldplay!"

This particular group that calls themselves Buena Vista Social Club were spearheaded by Ry Cooder, and are not really the group from the famed 1940's Cuban dance hall.  No matter.  This version of the song replaces the huge bass and piano sound with a more intimate horn section.  And it works, beautifully.
